ABOUT ME

I am an artist and photographer based in Newcastle and Edinburgh. My work includes sculpture, installation, and urban photography. My practice is rooted in the industrial and architectural histories of the UK, with a focus on how sites of labour, decay, and transformation continue to shape memory and cultural identity.

Influenced by Brutalist architecture and post-industrial environments, I create work that responds to material histories through concrete casting, steel construction, and photographic image transfer. My sculptural installations invite physical interaction, using fragments of rubble and hand-cast forms to evoke erosion, resilience, and the passage of time. Alongside this, my photography documents the evolving character of urban space, capturing the overlooked textures and contradictions of built environments.

Through both tactile and lens-based processes, I explore how architecture imprints on experience and how materials become vessels for social and spatial memory. My work aims to create space for reflection on the shifting relationship between place, industry, and identity.
